Gratitude
Bring gratitude into your life.

I have just finished writing a free 7 day mini course that focusses on making changes in your life.  One part of the course talks about gratitude and relates a story told to me by a friend about her grandfather.

He encouraged her from a small child to think of 5 things she was grateful for each morning before getting up.

I used this concept (with her permission), slightly adapted, for one of the days exercises.

Over a week ago I read a blog post by Reginald Cuffee, and it also focusses on gratitude.  (You can read the post
here).

Reginald suggests we keep a 'gratitude journal' that we write in each night before sleep.  I have done this since reading his post and can tell you, it makes me smile last thing, as I focus on all the good things about the day I've just had.  I fall asleep easily and feel contentment once I have written in my journal.

Read Reginald's full post, then give it a go.  See what you think, and let me know by leaving a comment under this post.

Enjoy the journey.

Hi Jay, yes, and the gratitude journal is one way we can recognise them every day.

Enjoy the journey.

Bring Gratitude into your life
Hi Mandy,

Count your blessings is a real eye opener. Most of us have so much that we all take things for granted. But it is so important to our well being that we recognize the good things around us. There are so many things happening around us that will affect us in the future, we just don't know how.
